About

Tiga-Rose

Radical permission to forge a path in love and life that actually feels like home.

Hello, I'm Tiga-Rose Nercessian (she/her)!

Raised by posh hippies, as I child I was endlessly fascinated by almost everything, especially people and why they did the things they do. I was cheerful, introspective, and relentlessly curious (not much has changed!).

Now snuggled into my 40's, I am proud to say I’m a mixed race, queer, kinky, non-monogamous, multi-neurodivergent person (AuDHD with PDA, synaesthesia, and hyperphantasia).

I lead an introverted, quietly subversive life. I’m an ā€˜and’ person more than an ā€˜or’ person. I an pro-science and pro-spirituality. I consume science like most people enjoy art, I still go raving, and my happy place is my garden.Ā

I’m British and liveĀ in my dream home in a ruralĀ French village, with my earnest, adoring rescue dog, Laniakea, and Entropy, my heterochromatic, Angora cat.

ThisĀ is the life terrain I have navigated to find my own path to walk, and clearings to rest in. These aspects of who I am form and inform me and my practice.Ā

My Story: The Long Way Home

Throughout my 20s and 30s, I lived with the persistent, quiet ache of feelingĀ fundamentally lost. I spent those years slowly, and often painfully, trying to put words to feelings that didn't seem to have a place in the world around me.

In my intimate relationships, I knew I wanted something different and unconventional, but I didn't know what to call it, let alone how to ask for it.

For a long time, no matter how hard I tried to fit into the standard boxes of loving and relating, I remained an outsider. Those years were a million trial-and-error experiments in the laboratory of human intimacy.

I eventually realised that I wasn’t "broken" - I was simply trying to follow maps that weren’t drawn for a heart, or mind, like mine. The path I needed didn’t exist yet; I had to forge it myself.

I don’t just offer a way out of the woods; I offer the tools and the companionship to help you forge a unique path that finally feels like home.

What Clients Are Saying

ā€œ'Tiga-Rose was instantly approachable and engaging. My partner and I both felt able to be open up about issues we were facing as a couple in a judgement free space, and with someone who we felt safe sharing ourselves with.

There was warmth, humour and understanding. Through commitment to the process and each other we have come outĀ of it much stronger as a couple."

- N. & E.

ā€œTiga-Rose is an incredible therapist. She has a winning combination of open-mindedness, sharp wit and warmth which helped us feel understood both as individuals and as a couple and allowed us to talk about difficult things.

She gave challenges and encouragement and helped us build a specific set of tools that we will probably use together forever!ā€

- B. & K.
